Hi,
Need to get some new bearings for some xt hubs.
Hb-M730 and fh-m732.
I can't seem to find what size bearings I need. Thinks it either 3/16 or quarter inch but not sure.
Anybody know?
Thanks,
Sam

3/16" for the front, 1/4" for the rear.

Hi,
Many thanks for that! It also explains my confusion as I need both sizes.
Cheers,
Sam

I'm just doing some DX ones and they are the same
It should be 10 each side for the front and 9 each side in the rear.

you may find you can squeeze one more in than that but DO NOT DO IT!

I'll bear those numbers in mind, thanks.
Where is the best place to get them. Seen some at sjs cycles. Are they all stainless?
Thanks

XT/XTR should be Grade 25 or less ( lower number = better roundness) and stainless (which grade stainless I don't know) . Though the bearing surface on the XTR hubs themselves compared to XT are a mile apart. Same from XT to DX. But that's what you pay for.

By chance I did all three today :)
