Bit of help please - anyone know of a low cost way of sending a frame to Portugal?

Been looking at various couriers, and £40+VAT seems about lowest I can find.

They quoted me £47 for canada, it's this volumetric weight bollox, you get nailed because although it weighs sod all it's a big box !

I managed to get a whole bike to Australia for £102 through parcel2go - not bad I thought. Package was done via volumetric (of course) of 22.8kg when package only weighed 14kg.
