fitting chainrings

Numpty here can't rememeber how to put my chainrings back together, as I'm properly inexperienced any help is appreciated.
I have shimano SG and have replaced the middle one with a Stronglight, hopefully this will be ok.
Can't remember where the washers go in between or which way the outer ring sits (there is a notch on it so I suppose it's relevant!) I think with the crank pointing down the logo should be at 10 o'clock?

Chainring will sit with the notch/bump/nodule thingy under the crank arm, and if it has a peg that goes to the outside (stops chain falling between ring and crank arm). As for washers I dunno. But unless they are super thick or look "important" then I can't see it would make too much of difference. Just suck it and see

I've got two sets of black sg the same, they both have thick brass washers, I've put them on the middle ring, but wherever i put them, the rings seem to sit better without them, to my eye, but they must be supplied as they are the same on both sets.
