i've been handed a mid ninties scott montana all original
definitely needs a new saddle ,something had eaten it!
.appears to be 16-16.5
just needs new cables, tyres, chain and tlc.
question is at 6'2" i'm a little tall for it,so any ideas?

450mm seatpost and 150mm stem - sorted... ;)

That's what I had on mine anyway, and I'm over 6'...

It's all there, that's the main thing :) I'd put a 450mm Thomson lay-back seatpost in it myself, stem looks ok (if it's 135mm I would go for a 150 though)...

i think this will be hung up for a while safely whilst i sort out the other bikes and keep an eye out for parts. i've got a marin bear valley that needs sorting and i have a sniff of a marin team bike, but any one wishing to have the scott for swaps i'll consider.

hanging up i've noticed it's a sportswoman montana, i've found very little on this model but i remember a catalogue here on the site that has one pictured but i can't find it? any help gratefully accepted.
