Ive never had these apart before but this set needs some new elastomers (they sag at the moment so not getting that much travel)

Anyone know of a source of elastomers for this fork or indeed how it pops apart? Im sure theres an expert here...

there should be two bolts under the legs , under the plastic caps if they`re still there

undo those and the stantions should lift out

Just pop off the 2 circlips at the base of each fork leg, lowers will then come off. Easier with bike upside down. Then you can see what the elastomers are like. I know a shop with NOS ones if Pace or Justbackdated have none.

I also have a pair of black holey Ringle skewers, what are they worth.

Hope that helps.

Martin

Hi,

I was wrong, later models had circlips, just looking at a pair now. Looks like a couple of 4mm allen keys. No plastic covers on mine.

Cheers
