Judy SL travel question??

I have a mid 90's Judy Sl that I believe is 80mm travel. This is being run on a '92 Fat Chance YO Eddy that is not suspension corrected. I was told that the 68mm is the longest travel fork that will keep the geometry supple.
The bike feels a bit clumsy with the longer fork on it. Is there a way to use the elastromer kit for the 68mm fork in the 80mm to adjust the travel down? Sounds like I need to just find a shorter travel shock to fit the frame. Input would be appreciated!

fairly certain its the cartridge damper that differs the travel. totally against the retro grain... but get some more saddle time with the longer travel.. more travel is good :D

You'll need a Long Travel kit, that is indeed a different damper unit and another neutral shaft for the right side. You can just change it by different elastomers.
