Hi guys and gals i have got a bit of a dilemma i came across a Marin Bobcat Trail in a skip obviously dumped in there by some pesant.Anyhow i am not sure what year it is as Marin has never been my bike of choice but i know they kick ass PICTURES WILL BE COMING SOON.......But anyway to be honest it is in superb condition and now i am going to bring it back to being the beauty it once was but i am stuck over what flex stem to fit on it.Should i go with the Girvin or the Slick rock ?? the only thing i can say that i am sure about is that the Slick rock has more travel but does that make it better ??? HELP ME OUT PLEASE.

What makes the flexstem the better one is it purely because it is a Girvin ???

I'll second that, put on the green firm elastomer, and she was a beauty!

Regretting selling mine on the bay now, but I did get a good price :) almost enough to fund an old set of Manitou's.
