I'm struggling to get my front mech to to fit properly on the hanger bracket of my cro-mega such that it changes correctly and doesnt buzz the rear tyre in the granny ring. It's in good condition and the tyres are pretty narrow. Am I missing something obvious?
Any ideas?

Loose the granny ring and put the smallest middle ring you can run

Longer BB axle, or one with an adjustable chainline?

Twist the mech slightly across the chainline to allow it to still do its thing and not be too rubby. On chain or tyre!

Um, that's it for now... :D

Cheers for that, I've gone to a 12-32 cassette and 36 middle ring that's already existing. I want to fit some slightly wider tyres than the skinny Richeys for a little more stability, grip and comfort, so losing the granny ring probably is the best plan to avoid rubbing
First offroad test for the old bike in a few minutes so I'll soon know if i needs a smaller middle ring. Thanks again. :D
