I had a 98 Privateer S, one of the Trek Bontragers. Was a brilliant bike. The frame hangs on the wall of my shed on display. Sadly, the back end of it gave out somehow. It began to sort of flop into corners, and became really unpredictable. It did do 3-4000 miles though. It's on display cos I couldn't bear to build it into a pub bike. Guess if I could've stretched to a proper Bonty, i'd still be riding it. Got quite a few pics of it when it was a complete bike though, if anyone's interested.
