This is hopefully going to be my daughters new bike, she is desparate for a lighter better quality ride.

So what else could be better than a quality steel Bontrager... :D

She is improving as a rider (and she is keen), but she is struggling with the awful weight and low spec of her current ride.....a modern G.T avalanche.. :roll:

I really didnt see the need for her to have heavy low end disc brakes, when a prefectly good "V" or cantilever brake was good enough Bitd...lol....(retro rules)

I reckon even on a very tite budget...(i.e what i can sell her old bike for)
this could be a very good replacement and reduce the weight of the bike by half...!!!

Never posted before, not sure if this is correct, but I have always loved those mixed material bontragers.

I'll try and figure out how to post pictures of my 92 race light and my factory bontrager ss.
