T Tallpaul Gold Trader Jul 12, 2007 #1 I've just fitted an 8sp Powerlink to my 8sp HG70 Chain but it doesn't move freely. I've oiled it and ridden it a bit to see if it'll loosen but no joy Are these things just tripe, or not compatible with Shimano chains, or have i just got a duff one?

gump Retrobike Rider Feedback View Jul 12, 2007 #4 try and twist it back and for sideways against the links (ie across the bike, in plane its not meant to bend in). Usually helps when I have a stiffee
