Are these retro?

I bought these without too much thinking. Are they retro? I will have a stab in the dark of about 1997 ish, but I am not sure. They look quite nice though.

They are a light grey. Forgot to add, these are 1.9 versions. Looking at mtbr, there are reviews going back to 1996, so sometime around then I guess.

Naah, nowhere near retro.........rubbish colour too!! Shame ye paid money for 'em..........I'm prepared to help ye out by taking them off yer hands for a nominal sum.......

Whoa. I'm looking for some Conti Cross Country 1.9s to begrudgingly replace my Smoke/Dart Magics.

I meant the ones I have left on the Vit.
I was thinking of swapping to Conti 1.9s 'cos i've always liked 'em, but begrudged losing the colour of the Magics :roll:
Hence why jonnyretro's light grey Contis would be perfect :shock:

They were on ebay as a BIN for Â£24 the pair. I think they were a one off though. I am thinking of using them on my clockwork, I am going for a white powdercoat and I think these will fit in well with some pimp bits.

Are these retro?
