rebuild Deore thumbshifter

I want to service and rebuild my Deore thumbshifter (7-speed).
I have allready removed the decal on top, but how can i open the shifter?

Have someone a manual or discription.

I don't need it anymore, because it's broken.

Thanks,
Tommy

Take out the screw on the bottom. Then the shifter can be removed from the mount. Once the shifter is off. There is a tiny screw that holds the dust cap on. Remove that. Once the cap is off. There's a 10mm nut. Opposite threads. So turn to the left. Then the insides come out.

I already found the screw, but broke the topwreck, because of the (foolish) lefthanded screw-thread.

But yesterday i found nos Suntour XC Expert thumbshifters for 10 euro, so i can finish the project.
