 Post subject: frame building

hi all as anyone had a go at building their own frame. At some point i would like to have a go at building a frame before i reach 40. a nice old skool frame 1 inch or a 1 1/4 head tube nice straight blade forks

I think that would be superb. Can see it now: A revival of Jez Hammond stylee elevated chainstay bikes again ....

elevated chainstays..... under the chainstay u-brakes....twin downtubes...triple triangles

might as well tick all the boxes whilst you're at it :D

you got access to jigs etc? Or are you going to wing it?

hopefully i should have access to a jig i know a gentleman that used to build tandams. But he only repairs drop outs and brake boss repairs now. But if that fails a mate at work will help me build a jig.
