Rig is totally marketing, dude but there's something deliciously ironic about describing an early 90s thin walled, super lightweight steel race bike as a rig (or sled). Fuselage for a combination of frame, forks and seatpost is similarly daft - it sort of worked for Kleins in their golden period but for goodness sake, it's not a light aircraft (even if Klein prices are going Lear).

Today, I'm mostly riding a retro XC Xtreme Rig.

in Beverley, where I grew up, I remember the term "push hog" or "pushog" and push bike being very common parlance.

"bikey" is quite common in our house, inspired by Penelope Wilton in Shaun of the Dead, though our commuters stee....er bikes are known as "trolley" or "donkey" as they carry lots of shopping etc.

+1 for hating rig

quite like fahrrad (being 1/4 German)
