It's not a steed.

It's not female.

It's not a 'rig'

and it's definitely not a 'sledge' :shock:

It depends on my mood...
Last weekend it was the "piece of crap" when the rear de packed up and wouldn't shift in the middle of a ride when the bike had about 4 inches of mud everywhere :lol:

Yep a bike is a bike,

However, when talking/typing and I feel I may have used the word bike a little too often, I replace the word bike (in a thesaurus kind of way) with a suitable word that would also mean bike. Sometimes the bike may be 'she' or other times the bike may be 'old girl' depends on the mood really, and I think I've only said steed for bike once or maybe twice, and I didn't care for it much.
