Yeah some proper retro beasts.. i liked the one with a hamock for a seat.
Could this have been the first form of suspension :?:
Did you see that sturmey archer hub :?: still pretty much the same today :shock:

ah well... the pages were actually incredibly dirty and fragile and had in fact been literally rescued from the flames - one or two of them show that quite clearly :-)

They had been lying in a loft since 1890 or 91 and only came to light last year when some of the straw that had accumulated over that time was being removed and burnt. If only one of the bikes had been up there too :)
