Chris king headset parts

Hi everyone
I have some very clean Chris king headset parts and was wondering what else I need to complete it? I've seen some places sell individual components so hopefully I can complete it?
Thanks in advance
Richard

Are the bearings still in the lower cup?
Is the assembly of the part on the right complete (flip it over to see..)?
And you'll need a base plate and a top cap to complete the set, I think.
:)

Re:

Cheers for the reply. Yes the bearing is in the lower cup and I've attached a picture of the top piece. It fits in the top cup but looks like it's just one piece so not sure if it's all there?

Re:

Looks like you just need the lower crown race ant top cap. You can use any topcap of course, doesn't have to be a king, but it will complete the headset.

You need this part and the top cap to have the full set. The top cap you can use any but the lower no.

The full set includes other prtas, this is how you buy brand new but the top cap, the white ring and the spider are compatible with any brand.

Re:

For your question about the top part, Chris Kings don't usually have the standard compression style top assembly. They simply rely on the rubber o-ring inside the top race and the pre-load from the stem, top cap and star nut. Watch out as this does eventually wear a groove into your fork steerer. I wouldn't use one on a carbon steerer.

You can get a standard king top assembly now though if you were worried.
