It’s a weight weenies wet dream as it is.

Re:

I’m an old hand at this retro-mtb lark but definitely a newbie in my appreciation for RSP

Here is my recent acquisition, a Team Titanium, bought as an impulse just before Christmas as the frame looked identical to the X-Lite Ti (which I have failed to buy several times), and different to all the pics I had seen of (what I now know to be ‘93/94) Torus’.

Thanks to Ibbz for directing me to this thread and it’s nice to see some comments from my friend Tomas.

Re:

This was just a quick experiment to see how good it could look. I reckon pretty good.

I then stripped it down completely and was very surprise to find the bare frame mass is just under 1600g. That is lighter than my medium sized Bontrager Ti-Lite.

It’s not going to be a priority build but this one is definitely screaming out “reasonably priced titanium rider”

It's exactly the same frame. X-Lite is just a polished Torus (the torus was also available in polished on occasion.)

A beauty! Nicely matched and she looks sleek!
Good choice with the Pace RC30 up front!

How much do the tyres weight? some supersonic tubes and light weight tyres would possibly knock the weight down another lb! (If you're a weight weenie!)

I had RC30 (531) on my former MT4

just wanted to say the forks work really well with that frame ibbz
Thanks
I forgot who recommended them. These original Pace do suit a nice Raleigh frame quite well!

Re: Raleigh Sheer

Thought I had posted this before on here but doing a search and I don’t think I have.
