As the title says, never used this model Deore LX chainset before so wondering what is required.
I've just stuck a random bb in for the picture.

Cheers

Re:

My set of those on my tourer are on a 113 mm bb. But, it really depends on how much chainstay clearance you need or want.

Re:

107 is the normal one, 113 if needed for fat bikes.

Or 110 if a bit of extra is needed on the none drive side (same chain line as the 107)

Can't say from picture, if they are M560 or M563. M560 use wider BB, 113-118, depending on chainline. M563 are this 107-113.

I'm using 120? maybe that 122,5? on my commuter, as with 46-36-26 rings on M560 cranks, 118 BB was just too short so had to put there what else I had lying around.

Are you think M550, that's 122.5 for the 47.5 chainline.

M560 with the super low profile setup is 107/113 for 47.5/50 mm chainline.

No, the M560. Double checking at Sheldonbrown, it is supposed to be 113/118 for 47,5/50 chainlines. My case was weird, I knew I should use narrower BB, but after trying had to put there something like 120 (maybe even that 122,5, not sure), as chainrings were touching frame when using 118mm.

The 107/113 BB for 47,5/50 chainline should be the M563 chainset - compact BCD and one year newer.

Ah yes, the exage was the same that year, no real reason you couln't run 107/110 if you tried, but the lower groupset tended to go or more room at the rings/arms.

Pretty sure it's the same profile as the XTR, also 110, (and the Compact cranks).

Must see if I still have my 560 and try, though sure I got rid of it.

I think they kept the M560 as an option for 1994 too, but didn't put it out for show.
