A place in the world for a Brooks Conquest on a retro MTB?!

Some brooks saddles have twin rails like this:

You can fasten them to a standard seat clamp using just one of the rails, but IIRC the rails are a little narrower so I ended up shimming them. Also said rail snapped after about a year too so probably wouldn't recommend based on my own experience.
I thought I was seeing things..so thank you for your help. As you don't recommend it I'll have to keep searching for the clamp which I'm sure have one. Got two saddles, both pretty gnarly and worn in but I think should look ok on my old Stumpy... :)

The one on my Powell does have twin rails. Bottom rail for clamp. Rails are normal size. Has worked fine without incident.

Cheers for that...I guess the best thing to do is find the saddles and consider my opinions....turns out I have a clamp but only short steel posts and would like to keep Stumpy's original longer one bolt seat post. Both saddles are in a bit of a state, one with a better top but missing the front adjuster. As the Stumpy will just be a short ride cruiser/pub bike this would be ok I guess with the leather sitting on the top frame. Alternatively I could go down the re-riviting route and make one good seat.
Clamping on the bottom rail only would work but may have to pack rail slightly.
Alternatively i could clamp onto both rails using a longer bolt an make an aluminium pack with bolt hole in the middle and fit between the rails.
