Free hub body problems - Help.

Does anyone have a link to the HG50 free hub body above - day on eBay UK or Amazon please - they could add here so I don’t make another mistake? I’d very much appreciate it

And it seems as if the axle is set up to adjust on drive side - a royal pita. But I think with the correct FHB I may be able to put on without any dangerous issues

The MC18 Freebub is part number Y3A398020 which is also used in:

FH-M570, FH-M555, FH-M525, FH-M510, FH-C501 and FH-C500.

Please can you post a pic up of the axle assembly complete with cones etc. outside the hub?

The comment says FH-M530 is the correct freehub which is part no Y3SR98050. This is only fitted to that hub according to Shimano's tech docs. However the author also says M525 which is part number Y3SL98030.

Ah this is not the same as the Italian carbon hub which I had. It's better. On mine there was no adjustment on the non drive side. On yours it appears that there is. Work out with everything loose the position where you have equal amounts of axle shown each side. Then set the cone and nut in the right position on the drive side. Set them solid against each other. Then insert the axle and adjust the non-drive side for play, until you have the right tension in the bearing. Should be fine.

Thank you! I guess the original free hub I have is that particular one FH-M530?
I bought a replacement off side cartridge bearing - which is written here on the dust seal.
He states 6901LLU - I bought 6901RS / 61901 2RS. I couldn’t find a 61901RS as is written on the Seal.
I wonder if they’re all one and the same ? What does the suffix LLU/RS/2RS mean? The first numbers are the same.

Thank you! I shall do so - I think I’ll have to buy the free hub mentioned first and then post pictures here as I do it
