I'm after a BMX style quill stem to put in a threaded 1-1/8" fork and want to fit a 22mm bar.
Can't seem to find one.
It looks like all BMX quill stems are 1" ???
Anyone got any ideas?
I have a quill - ahead converter as backup and an old x-lite fly in short length, but I'm pretty sure that's 31.8mm (it's currently on my mates mrs' bike) and I can't find a 31.8mm-22mm shim either.
In short, stem needs to be able to take a bar with a fixed brace.
Last resort is to buy a new BMX ahead stem, I suppose, that'll go on the quill ahead adapter...
I'd prefer to use a quill Stem that'd do the job perfectly.
