I have, at last, just completed the restoration of these four SL Ti forks, so thought I'd share some pics.

It's been a long and bumpy road to get to this end result, going through much research, trial and error and to be frank...ball-ache!

Anyway, four forks done!...

I just recently finished a set (21/Sl-Ti) as well, but went with a custom color on the lowers, and mated a new Ultimate Machine crown to a brand new Ti steerer tube (final fitting done by Mr. Dekerf himself) for the top half, for a specific Ti-frame build ... and after getting it all together and so pretty - I found that one of my new main seals was faulty, so apart that leg came - again - in order to receive a second, new seal ...

and all is well!

Are you planning on selling these, as a buddy of mine might be interested in a set if so ... ?

Firstly, amazing job you’ve done there!

Did you have the lowers and brace lacquered or have the just gone for the closest colour matched paint?

Only asking as I’m restoring a pair that I originally owned back in 1994.
 
Yes, me too, i cleaned mine not so long ago, think i best go and have another go :facepalm:
