Hi All,

I'm building up a 1996 Cannondale M200 but I don't know what bb spindle width to buy.

The shell is 68mm and I'm guessing one of the usual 113mm, 115mm, or 118mm widths will be fine.

Does anyone have one of these frames they can check the width on before i buy the bb?

Cheers

I fitted a 115 and the drive side is fine but the non drive side is too short. The non drive side crank is too near the stay.

I measure the bb shell at 68mm so i have the right width shell. All I can think is that the left and right crank arms aren't a pair.

What do you mean by too near? 2-3mm is enough. Not all BBs are symmetric either. The 113mm one definitely is.

Both cranks aren’t evenly spaced from the chainstays. The drive side is 9mm and the non drive side is 3mm.

I tried some older LX cranks and they are spaced similarly.

I’ll try a modern hollow tech to see if I can work out whats happening.
