Hi

Haven't posted for a while - I have a M952 Chainset/Rear cog that needs a new chain. What chain would be period/group correct?

Thanks All!

D.

CN-HG92 (for XT) or CN-7700 Dura Ace (for XTR) if you've deep pockets.. both 9 speed.

Other than M952 is 1999 so cough cough wrong section ;-)
As above CN-7700 is the DuraAce/XTR chain
If you bike is as late as 2002, then the CN-7701 was the groupset chain.

Thanks Guys!

I my defence, its on a 1996 Zaskar LE and its mountain bike to 1997!

I did wonder if Groupset determines or Bike determines - I know now!

If it was about the bike, then in here. About M952 in there.
or to be honest, either place as it's all M95x stuff in an unwritten close enough rule.

So err it's cheaper and much easier to use a modern chain.
