Nice one, Wim!

Thanks Eef! I'm currently turning it into a school bike for my 10 yo son. For one or other reason he wanted a vintage mountainbike to go to school.
Can't blame him: retro is cool for school
Didn't he prefer to take the Karakoram, though ;)?

He knew that would be a no go.

Re:

Hi guys!

Dami's 1996 Kuwahara Fast Trax RC.

In the late 90's Finland Kuwaharas were common as mushrooms during rain, and their secret was pretty much using quite good components compared to the bikes' price tags. This one is from -96, has a mixture of LX/STX RC/STX/Alivio components on it, and it's retail price back then was 3290 Finnish marks comparable to about 600-700 current euros. I found it as a "trash" bike in the local classifieds some years ago, put it to pieces, gave a lot of love and installed my old Tioga Psycho TT's on it. Perfect worry-free pub bike!
