Panaracer Dart SC 2.2 tyres

Hi All
does anyone know anything about the Panaracer Dart SC 2.2 tyre.
Was there a matching rear tyre to go with it, i've seen that some people put the 2.2 on the front and the 2.1 on the back.
I've just bought a donor bike with a pair of the 2.2 Darts on, look like NOS, im just working out what to do with them.

I thought the Dart was a front-specific tyre?

(I have also bought a bike with two Darts on it!)

It is a front specific, but the bike for some reason has 2 of them on it. I was going to sell one and put a smoke on the back i think.

Dart front
Smoke rear.

The SC came later on, with a HC version - so riders had, I think, three versions of Dart. The Soft SC, regular and the Hard.

Smoke had a couple of versions but not AFAIK different compound hardnesses. There was a LITE version which I think was 1.7, or maybe 1.9, and a Compe model which was the standard 2.1. Steel and Kevlar types also came about to suit different budgets.

Personally I liked it paired with a 2.35 Z-Max

I used to swear by the Smoke Lite in 1.9". It gave less drag than the 2.1" but cornered just as well.
All my riding buddies then moved on to WTB Velociraptors. Happy days.
