Very interesting thread, really informative. Particularly the drop outs. I'd never paid any attention to those. I have a lot of love for the Whytes, I've had two Marin FRS bikes designed by JW, still got the 2005 one which looks very much like the PRST4 in the swingarm region and front end design, but obviously without the link fork.

Hope you find something suitable Jas/ :)

I may have a lead on a 19” jw2 with the modded shock mount and chain stays.

I was driving back from a house hunting mission in North Yorkshire today when I notice something over my shoulder.........

The new boss was slightly surprised by a detour through the middle of York with a short restrained stop. Could’ve left with far more ........ :xmas-big-grin: :?:

took a bit of a punt......... Barn find condition.

A lot of weird bike for very little money. Means I have a good budget for improvements.

What would you have paid for it?

shimmed post. Were they all 30.0mm?

Found a cheapie 30.0 mm on fleabay at 400mm so may be enough.

The freak is languishing in the shed of not my shed and I have no tools to tinker here.

Plus being very good is killing me.
