That’s terrible news. A few years ago I had a slight chance to come to California, pat offered to take me riding, offered straight away no questions asked. I never got to go but really hoped I’d get the chance to take up the offer someday. Such a shame I won’t get the chance. RIP Pat, a true gent.

oh god, i didn't know he was ill, i'm gutted, i had quite a few chats with Pat over the last few years especially after meeting up with him in Fairfax and and we all went for a ride and beer.
