time for goodbye to my rarist piece! Ridgeback 605

Re:

Hi people
Yes I do still have it. A lot of family issues took over at the time so the sale fell by the wayside. I don't think anyone else has one, at least not on here or anywhere else for that matter.
Apart from my Rourke it's my rarist piece

Hi
Thanks for replying. Sorry to hear of your family woes. Hope you're through them now.
Great to hear it is still available. Though I'm trying to decide if the 22" might be a bit of a garden gate and too large for me as well.
TBH I've never seen a 22" frame before. Would you have pictures?
Thanks

Theirs some pictures of RJ 605 on the show us your Ridgeback thread,
Not sure how to link topic here ,but you can look at RJ profile and view posts.
You're the guy on Ebay who messaged me about my 603
welcome to retro bike

Yes, the same one. A bit gutted I missed out on your 603 as I've been looking out for a 20" frame - I've finally outgrown my 18" 602 after nearly 30 years!?!
Unfortunately, various circumstances at home & work meant I couldn't get over Essex way to do the deal with you!

I've found the pictures and yes it looks like a garden gate!
But out of curiosity what is the standover height to the ground from the top tube?
TIA

Re:

Sorry, only just seen this request. The bike will be coming out of the cellar this Saturday.
I will give it a measure then, and get back to you.
Cheers rj
