GT RTS 1, 1996. What seatpost clamp do I need ?

My RTS needs a new clamp and the seat post appears to be 26.8. The exterior diameter of the seat tube has some fractional ovalisation and varies from 28.5 to 28.8. Does anyone know what clamp I should be looking for ? Was it something standard ? I only want a plain black allen bolt one to go on there so it doesn't need to be fancy.

Not sure you can get a 28.8, I’d find a cheap 28.6 and see if that works.

I would think an alumiminium RTS-1 has a bigger seat clamp than that though due to the chunky tubes used. What size front mech band does it have?

Sorry, came up short I'm afraid. I'm now a bit concerned I've lost some spares as couldn't find some other rts bits I know I have.

31.8mm....seat tube is 1-1/4" aluminum o.d.
