Hi, does anyone know what size seat post a 95 muirwoods had? I've just bought a doer upper and the seat post was seized- eventually got it out and it was a Kalloy 27.2 which makes me think that the original must have been a size down from this for it to get stuck. Any ideas? Also bottom bracket size?

Thanks.

A lot of those earlier ones were 26.2.

I have a 94 palisades trail and the seat post was stuck.
It was too large a seat post rammed into the frame. Got it out without any problems but now when i try put what i think is the correct size, it seems loose?
Ill try take some measurements and ill let you know what these sizes are. You never know, i might still have a seat post in the size you're after...

Have a similar issue with a '97 Pine Mountain. Not got around to checking.

I have a feeling it's 27mm

I've got a '94 & 95 Palisades here - I'll check later for you.

Yep - 27.0

This old one is a bit worn.

Your .2mm is enough to make it stick!
