So, I found this link which lists model numbers each year up until 2000. Does anybody have a list of groupset model numbers from y2000 to current? http://www.retrobike.co.uk/wiki/Shimano ... psets_2000

Yeah I'm looking for the same kind of list from 2000 onwards. Any help, particularly between 2000 and 2005 would be much appreciated

It wasn't and I think it is an error by drystonepaul (the last editor on there in 2013, but could have been John or mtbmaniac)
it did have ratcheting, but that's not the same as indexing.

1986 was still M700 and SIS hadn't come to Deore XT then, it had however just been introduced to the road 105 group as an option.

and 1987 SIS goes offroad

As for 2000+ I use the linked fa-technik site (also excellent for earlier too)
