Titanium is a horrible material for fasteners. It tends to gall and stick.

I'd agree

Made the mistake of dry fitting into Ti.
They came out with a grinding noise, snapping their way out a little bit on every movement, due to the tremendous torque that was needed. I had concerns they were going to break.

Michelin Titanium anti-seize paste. 8) as a Ti rider, you live with it. Stainless stays shiny but grease them like a pig destined for the greasy pig contest.

You might have a prob finding copper grease. try copa slip in google instead, but be aware copa slip isnt the best for nuts, bolts or screws as it can set up a corrosion, due it its own copper content(This is ultra pedantic geekiness, so dont worry  ) Personally, i'd recommend anti seize paste, from 10 years experience of that particular brand.

I’ve just tried a rust removal idea I found online.

Take the rusty bolt and leave in a cup of vinegar for week and try come out lie New.

The vinegar goes from clear to brown.

Anyone else tried this?

Yes! Tried it and they were rusty again within a week. Annoying. I too would love a solution.
