Orange E2

Hello all, first post on here for me. Recently purchased an Orange E2 for not a lot of money to transport my boy to pre school.
In this case the school boy error was me missing a crack in the very dirty frame before purchasing..seller was decent & partially refunded me.
Looks like the frame is scrap with the headset tube cracked. Shame as it’s otherwise in decent condition. Will post more pictures tomorrow.
Anyone have a frame they would be willing to part with?

To be honest E2's were all prone to cracking there, so there's not too many undamaged versions left...

If you got it for a good price you may wish to consider transplanting the parts onto another frame? The steel P7 frames tend to crop up on and off, if you want to stick with Orange.

Thanks for the tip on steel p7 games. I may add a wanted add..
Always wanted an Orange after my mate had a titanium hard tail that was incredible.

Yeah, nice bike that but we’re so prone to cracking they were swiftly replaced by the e3. Plenty of steel p7, c16, prestige or clockwork frames about though for not much cash and virtually all the parts should move straight across.

I feel your pain, had the same story with my E3 although the crack was at the back of the head tube. Then purchased an E2 frame (for a little bit much) via Ebay to replace it, checked it for cracks only to find the frame number ground off :cry: Took it to the police who basically told me not to worry, but never had the heart to do anything with it.
