I've not seen these before, came on a early 90's mtb.
Picked bike up from seller, went to take the ftont wheel off to put it in the car and... oh.... :?
Needs a torx key to undo the bolt, then twists round like a regular qr to loosen it off. Has a circlip on the other end of the bolt.
We're these a "thing"? Or a home-brew security job? They look like Shimano Qr's.

My mate bought these BITD as an 'upgrade'. They died a death commercially as they defeated the point of a QR and if you lost the Torx then your mates are unlikely to have a spare. I remember his torx getting lost whilst changing a tube and three of us going through the long grass trying to find the bloody thing :LOL:

Best put in the bin.
