I have just contacted "The Mountie" on here who regularly puts pics up for me as I can't do it myself (yes still) so should be a couple up soon. There were some pics of it at 2016 iconno especially on Regans bit of the thread but I can't see them no more because of third party hosting or something

Never had a wicked light, it was the only avitar I could get work that looked any good. The reason I asked about thm's rourke is I kind of have one myself. When I first got it, it was marked up as a Dave hinde dragon but he's a wheel builder so investigated a little further as there were only 4 digits for the frame number.
Turned out the bike frame was built at rourkes for a guy name Matt Miller from the same area as Hindes shop. So looks like rourkes built these frames for hinde on the hush hush.

It now wears Rourke livery and there's no doubt in my mind where it was born :D

Provenance is everything with iconic bikes. I only know Rourke’s from the road bikes they made back in the 80s. Every issue of Cycling Weekly seemed to have some dude riding a Rourke in a skin suit to a new British TT record or summink. I always thought they were some sort of sacred Illuminati bike builder facility up North !

Rourkes shop is still the best locally regarding specialist builds and build quality in general. If you do ever come up this way pop in and see some of the frames that that have been renovated that are waiting for owners to pick them up. But remember to take a tissue or two to catch your drool as your looking up at them.
Most people rave about them, but you always get the people that pick fault just to try and get some money knocked off.
