It's clearly Alu quality, says so on the sticker.

Whatever it is, it's nothing special based on components, but it looks complete and rideable, and better than any cheap bso, and probably most cheap bikes around the £300 mark these days.

Unfortunately it´s likely department store quality. "Active" is a brand of Metro AG, sold in supermarkets like Kaufhof. IIRC they also sold (sell?) tennis rackets and various other sporting goods under that name.
