Old school Sid 100 mm adjusting travel

I'm looking at an original pair of 100mm sid forks.

Can these be spacered down to 80 or 63mm as I'm going to use them on my 7 year olds bike with 24" wheels.

Yes, you just need to fit some travel reducers at the top of the air shaft. The 80mm versions are really 100 with these already fitted.
