Ok. You won the Euromillions and have to build it. What’s the most expensive retro spec build we can come up with ? Master Spec on this post ‘updated’ when we get a more expensive part

Forks - IRD Ti £850
Headset - WTB/CK headset £685
Stem - Cook Bros 135mm £600
Bars - Cook Bros Sushi Ti bars £330
Brake levers - Grafton NOS £350
Seatpost - Syncros Ti NOS £550
Saddle - £250 Flite NOS
Pedals ?
Brakes - full set of WTB original Rollercams £2410
Hubs - ?
Cranks - ? CPR Titanium £1200
Chainrings ? Boon x3 £350
Bottom Bracket ?
Wheel Disc - £1000 NOS
Rims - ?
Spokes - ? Ti Dye - cost for 72 ?

I'm guessing this won't end up a period-correct build? - or a very pretty one!

Period correct parts - 10 yr stretch - Anything from 1985-1995. As for looks, too early to tell. A lot of the priciest parts look pretty good :)

Wouldn't a Tomac Raleigh Carbon/Ti (merlin Ti, only 13 exist) be a more expensive frame?

I'll kick off with a couple of random suggestions. No idea of current values though..

- Cook Bro's VGS stem in 135mm
- Westpine Neutron hubset (I've only ever seen one photo of the elusive rear)
- Viking Ti chain ...cost c $300 in '93!
- White Industries LMDS derailleur and shifters?

He said no Beryllium

I guess a WTB/King headset would be up there?

Yeah, I missed that...! Still stands though - if you're going to go Euromillions-win spec, it has to be included. 4 made, so not a prototype or one-off either ;)
