Comes in red, blue and green.

Red is the strongest, and green the lightest. Blue is medium and is the one the bike industry appears to favour.

Errr, if you're talking about genuine Loctite, don't use green! It's a bearing retaining compound and is very strong.

The most common ones are:

Loctite 222 (pink) - low strength threadlocker
Loctite 243 (blue) - medium strength threadlocker
Loctite 638 (green) - high strength bearing retaining compound

222 is pretty weak and not worth bothering with, 243 is perfect for bike use, and 638 is what you'd use to fit headset cups into a loose/ovalised head tube (for example).

I have 222, 271, 270, 290 and 638.
I think I have only have only used 222 on push bikes.
