Hairline cracks in HOPE fatso flanges

I had one that was fine for 20years then went 'ping' whilst the wheel was hung up in the shed. Rode it down the road and it clicked once a revolution, wheel stayed true though but I didn't want to risk it. That ones was a crack along the press on end not around the spokes.
