Prestige & Clockwork forks

I have a 93 Prestige that I'm going to be sending off for paint in the new year. I got it as a frame only & sourced some forks from a Clockwork of the same year. Is there a difference in forks between the 2 models? Would the Prestige have a lighter fork?

The Prestige frame has no braze-ons whatsoever but the Clockwork forks have mudguard eye on the dropouts.

Re:

Pop some pics up.

Same forks only one of each style though I used the Alu forks on my black prestige BitD before it was half inched shortly after getting it. Gave a nice ride.

I guess it should be like this for models in 1993
Clockwork - normal style 'traditional' fork.
Prestige - Alu fork
P7 - F7 (triple butted segmented fork)

Other after market forks
Suspension any you like (Pace rigid/Suspension and Mag21s being the targeted forks iirc).

Check the catalogue.

I'll rephrase. Would the original tapered steel forks from a Prestige be better than those from a Clockwork?

Re:

Hence the 'same forks'

I just listed the target fork for each frame at that time.
They only had the three forks.

Re:

From memory some of the very early Prestige forks were better but by 93 they were the same. Sure I have seen early ones with a Prestige tube decal on them?
