hi guys due to my knee issues I have some new old stock frames lying around and thinking of building a ebike any thoughts on doing a retro build ebike

you could hide the battery in a frame bag, bike pcking style. buy a cheap bso electric bike and swap it all over

I've just done a 2008 Connondale, not retro but not too hard to do.

It's a Bafang 250w mid drive with a 36v 10ah battery bought from China, all in about £500, you can plug into the controller as well ;0)

not quite sure which to go for they do the front and rear hub motors the mid below the cranks and the rear frame mount
