Front forks makers mark AKISU, I have come to the conclusion it is a Nishiki Pinnacle, apparently the same as the Alien but with Suntour components.

In 7 years of collecting Nishiki e-stays, I've never seen one with those little bars connecting the seatstays and chainstays (do they have a name?) being curved to match the curvature of the rear tire like that. All mine are straight tubing.

I don't think it's a Nishiki Pinnacle; I think it's much rarer (and thus much more valuable) than that. Nishiki is a 'big name' brand (LARGE company) and they made A LOT of bikes, whereas I think your bike was built by a boutique-type builder with a low production run, so there probably aren't too many of them out there. If I were you, I'd get it sandblasted and either painted or powdercoated to preserve it for now, and perhaps do a proper restoration after you discover its true identity. Does it have a serial number stamped into the BB? Knowing what that number is might help you to make a determination as to its 'pedigree'.

Here's my Nishiki Pinnacle:

incorrigable, thanks for the response, so the mystery continues.

I have now stripped frame completely, also the serial number which is. T8911 on one side of BB shell then 0135 on the other side of the BB shell.

Just dragged this out of the shed,to get a idea and value? About to rat it and chop it up.Then thought it was a odd frame, and maybe better to keep it as is.

Can't quite tell from this angle - is that a single tube coming from the chainstays and going from the seat tube to the down tube? Can you post another pic from a different angle? Thanks.
