I think the freewheel is kaput on the wife's bike, it's making a right noise when the wheel is turning. I've taken it off and it feels loose. It's a 7 speed Suntour AP like this one.

I'm looking for a cheap replacement, would this Sunrace 7 Speed 14-28 Screw On Freewheel New fit?

Cheers

Wayne.

Should be fine. The Sunrace ones seem to get good reviews.

However, if she has indexing gears they won't shift correctly. 6 speed spacing is 5.5mm, 7 speed is 5.0.

All 7 speed setup should be fine.
