Yeah well.. 'recycling' was only intended to be the third (and by inference least critical) step in a cascading set of actions which started with 'reducing' the amount of shit we bought in the first place, and 're-using' the shit that remained.
The only bit of that which can be made palatable to the habituated consumer, the profit-hungry stakeholder, or indeed the growth-addicted system itself- is the 'recycling' bit.
