Just bought a pair of these off the bay, but you never hear much talk of Manitou forks and tend to be quite reasonably. They have mixed reviews but still quite high on MTBR, about the same as SIDs really. Would love to know peoples constructive views on these please :D

Re:

I use a lot of them ! they are cheap , pretty light , easy to maintain , good re bound damping and easy to come by so tick my boxes as it were :D
On the downside parts dont seem that easy to get but tbh if i have a set with worn out bushes they are cheap enough to buy another set

Had a set of SX Carbons for a bit, they were cheap, the adjusters cease up and they are too flexy for a 15 stone bloke. My Z2 Atoms work far better. Manitous modern forks seem great though and I have some Marvels on my 29er they gave me the confidence to buy a used set of minutes to put on my lads Kona.

switch them to springs if you have elastomers in them.
Seems to be the answer to move them up a notice from the reviews BiTD.
