What retro head angle do you ride? From what I understand, 70 to 71 degrees is the norm for early to mid 90s retro MTBs. Would 69 degrees be ridiculously slack (with a rigid fork)?

Re:

head angle is a mess : there's lotos difference between what is written in catalog, magazines and reality : for example, 1991 cannondale got 71° in the catalog and Mountain Bike Action said 72° ! So, it's difficult to know exactly if you ride 69° or 72°. On other hand, the fork rake and dimension, the size of your front tire and your stem angle could change the feeling too…
Actually, my Merlin which got my favorite ride got a 71/72° head angle : the fork is 382mm (smaller than the Ritchey original fork) and got around 50mm of rake. the tire is a Smoke 2.1 (and rear is Ritchey Megabite 2.1), and the stem is a 135mm with 10°
